Reminders -bring bug repellent -bring tents if you have them (additional tents will be available for those that need them) -bring towels and a couple of changes of clothes (we will be swimming on both days) -all youth going will receive an event t-shirt Friday, keep that in mind when packing -showers are not available but there will be bathrooms, sinks, and water) -bring the parental consent / liability form with you or fill one out Fri., download one using the link above -bring sleeping bags -it will be hot so have appropriate clothing -bring sunscreen -bring Bibles if you have them -youth will need money for fast food lunch Sat. All other meals will be provided -Adults attending: Jody Paramore, Kristie & Corey Stilton, Stephen Bazan -You may call Jody @ (252) 864-6486 during trip Schedule Friday, July 29th 4pm--Meet @ Salem to leave (Paramore Building) 5:30pm--Arrive and set up at the group camp site 6:30pm--swimming at park's beach 7:00pm--Grilled Hot Dog dinner at reserved picnic shelter 8:00pm--Big Group Session One ("Upside Down Series: Collision)-location of this session will be the park's screened in outdoor education center, will have electricity for multimedia-Yay! BOTTOM LINE: There are two kingdoms that are trying to coexist in our lives—but there is only room for one. Included in this session will be God's view on how we should relate to Him and other authorities in our life. 9:30pm--Smores on the grill at camp site (campfires are not currently allowed) 10:00pm--Games 11:00pm--Big Group Devotion/Prayer 11:30pm--Go to sleep/everyone in their tents Saturday, July 30th 7:30am--Wake up 7:45am--Small Group Sessions / Morning Prayer 8:30am--Breakfast 9:00am--Nature Trail Hike & Environmental Education/Visitor Center 10:30am--Swimming at park's beach 11:30am--Clean up/Pack up camp site 12:00pm--Closing Prayer / Leave park 12:15pm--Fast food lunch in Washington 1:30pm--Arrive @ Salem for student pick-up | AuthorJody Paramore ArchivesMay 2013 Categories | ||
